Tourism and Social Entrepreneurship is aimed to promote tourism entrepreneurship among students and raise their  awareness of social issues in the participants' countries. Students will realise that, in order to be a succesful enterperneur, one must develop social skills towards local social issues. Engaging in real life problems, they will also gain experience in other curriculum activities,  recognise their potential for their future career, and gain experience on the job market.

Pupil's age: 14 - 18

 

Tools to be used:

e-mail, other software (Powerpoint, video, pictures and drawings), Twinspace, Web publishing

 

Aims:

Developing entrepreneurial skills; improving foreign languages and presentation skills: to be aware of local social issues, and promote team work using ICT tools.

 

Work process:

October - introducing the partners (through video)

November - quiz

December - exhibition of videos of Christmas national menus

January to April - preparing guided personal tours as the result of the quiz

 

Expected results:

e-book, improved ICT skills and English communication as well as team work for all the paritcipants, improved entrepreneurship skills and intercultural competences; flyer and blog in English and all partners mother languages
